Auto top uo

I'm looking into the possibility of getting an auto top up gizmo for my tank, however I have no sump. Are there units that would sit on my tank? The tmc v2 unit looks good but not sure it would reach my tank water level. Any suggestions?

You just need a pump capable of pushing water up from wherever your ato container is..
Or raise the container..

I mean the bit that hangs on the tank, I don't know if the part that monitors water level would reach the surface of the water.

I have no sump and use the Coral box A-100 ATO.
The piece that the sensors are on comes with a super strong suction cup, which make it fully adjustable to any water height.

Great piece of equipment IMO.
Been running 2 years now, uses IR sensor and mechanical sensor for backup, has not missed a beat since setting up.

If you do decide, request an extra IR sensor, they are supposed only to last 9-12 months but my current one still working.

Volume of such a tank would be small. You cant hang more than several gallons of water to the tank without risking stretching and separating the seams. So you would end up constantly topping off the hanged container rather than the tank. It wont save you much time or effort.

You can just use bucket filled with RODI water as the source, you dont need a sump for that.
