Avast ATO Pump running ato pump from basement up to main

Hello!

Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience running their Avast ATO pump from a basement level up 10-15 feet?

I read that the pumps are good for 60ft of head pressure, aside from the pump
it looks like i'll need the float switch too.

Right now I am using the Smart ATO which is great but I don't have room in my sump cabinet for the reservoir and moving that downstairs seems like my only option.

Their diaphragm pumps are capable generating 60PSI (pumping up to 130ft high)
Their peristaltic pumps are capable of ~20ft high..

You will certainly need something to tell the pump when to turn off/on..

If its the Autoaqua smart ATO you can just use that system and have it turn on a relay instead of the pump it comes with vs buying some other float/ato system..
You would just need a relay with a 12VDC coil and use the contacts of the relay to turn on/off the pump.. (its really not as hard as it may seem).. plenty of diagrams out there..

Makes sense, so right now it has two separate wires going into a splitter that powers the optical sensor and pump. So would it make sense for me to splice a connector onto the avast pump and power it from the smart ato splitter?

Their diaphragm pump runs on 12V and can likely be powered directly from said splitter as thats 12VDC too.. The other requires a relay/120V line power..
