Shark tunnel plenty of sharks in here to get snap shots of and their was other fish in here too, mostly huge ones...

by the way, not me in the first picture just for the record... lol

You get all kinds of different people in your photos when your at a theme park.....

Back in the 80's I lived in NE Ohio and was a member of C-SEA. At that time there was a Sea World in OH and we met there from Sept - May. It was really cool to meet surrounded by these huge tanks. Also cool, in Sept and maybe Oct the dolphins were still there in their tanks. They were so used to people that as soon as they heard us walking in they would start calling to us. They wanted us to come over and give them attention like they were used to getting in the summer.

I love both the leafy sea dragon and the weedy sea dragon. Very odd looking creatures and difficult to keep even for the professional aquariums. I think I read somewhere that they are allowed to keep them for a short time then they have to trade them out. I don't know about that though.

The new Atlanta Aquarium has a tank just for the sea dragons. There are a few different types in there. No lion fish tank. I think they have Seaworld beat on sharks and the coral tank too. Nice pictures. You should try the Atlanta Aquarium next!

Im tring to make the trip this weekend to Atlanta just for the Aquarium. I heard it was really nice. I hope its worth the trip.

i think my favorite tank in Seaworld was the puffer tanks. but the dolphins rule the place :D. the sharks were freaky. they get beside you when youre on the belt. and they just glide beside you. they have this look about them.

Would like yo visit the atlanta aqurium sometime, maybe my next vacation will keep that in mind sttroyiii, The puffer tank was cool, got a cool pinture of that will have to post, and the dolphins are going threw their mateing thing right now so they weren't that friendly as in coming up too the wall and takeing fish from you... I always think man this would suck if this tunnel fell in, glad I only went threw once.... LOL anyhow it was a great little trip and will be going to other's soon...

My friend works at Birch aquarium here in San Diego.
They have both leafy(your pic) and weedy Sea Dragons.
They were my favorite.
I think they require special license or qualifications, but the fact that they cost $4,000, yes, 4 thousand dollars a piece puts them out of my reach!
Beautiful pics, thank you!

I was going to ask that from someone here on RC I wanted to know how much they were and where you get them from... Well I guess that answers my question on how much they are... LOL, Where are they from, water waters... ???

My friend at Birch got them I believe from australia.
Not 100% sure, but pretty sure.
They got 4 for $16,000 I know that for sure. $ sticks in my head!
When they got them somehow dragons got air in their belly that caused them to float, and they almost lost them.
I guess they had to remove air w/ a hypo and QT'd them.
They're cool now

thats insane to spend that much on four fish, I would be so mad if they died, that I would proably get out of the hobby... lol but wow that would have to be the most expensive fish that I have ever heard of...
