Bad Shape Kenya tree? Dying, what do? Thx

I just woke up this morning and it was in terrible condition. It is started to die and melt.

I have like 3-4 other of the same coral doing fine. It was just this coral in this spot. I moved it, hoping it would change.

Is it over? dead? Should I take it out before it raises my levels?

Only coral having problems, everything else is fine.

Hard to tell by pic, but if what you are seeing is a black film on the stalk, cut it ASAP, above that black stalk.

The cut piece will do fine.

I dont know why it happens but i have a green nepthea/sinularis that does the same think when it gets too big. Ive had to do it a few times over the years. The fragged part comes right back and does it again in a few years.
