baffle question

I did a search and didn't find the answer. I have a 60g tank that I am going to use as a sump. So I cut acrylic to just fit where I want it. Should I use weldon #4 to glue it in place? Do I place, then bead along the edges? Tank is acrylic and plan to use 1/4" acylic baffles.

It'll have to be a snug fit to use #4

Should I use weldon #4 to glue it in place?

I would use #16 this fills better for gaps but smaller than 3/32"

Figure out where you want them, then take the outer ones off, glue the center one in first then the outside one's, eaiser this way.

if you have clamps big enough to clamp the sump do it. after i cured i went in and silaconed just for peice of mind. i also used #3. here is a pic.

i did all of the work at my buddy's shop. the clamps were purchased at woodcraft. too expensive i recomend buying the cheap ones at harbor freight. yes that is hardwood, about $70 worth of goncolo (sp?) at the time it was the only straight boards lieing around. im glad someone finally noticed. we were laughing our asses off when we looked at the picture and realized there was more money in the lumber and clamps then the whole tank.
