Very easy to feed.

Most of the times you know when he wants to eat, now that i started to touch him.

He likes to be petted, so I do not know when he is hungry or just wants some touching, lol.

I got pass his breathing tubes, he had no issues me going there.
Main goal to have him out of the rocks and swimming around my hands, but that might take some time to happen if does ever happen.

I did the divers den, I knew what I was getting, and the eel was very healthy.

Started to eat the next day.

These are my favorite eels. Easygoing, easy to feed (once acclimated), gorgeous, and don't get too big. I'm off eels for the moment, but if I ever get one again it'll be one of these again.

I would not lean too heavily on the krill, which has been linked to lockjaw in some eels. It's ok occasionally, but I wouldn't make it a staple. A mixed diet of squid, shrimp, scallops, and other meaty fare will work better.

As to tankmates, yes they can eat other fish. Mine went after a dogface puffer and I lost both fish. Sad day.

Your eel is gorgeous with a great temperament.

In that last video, I was on the edge of my seat. It looked like at any second the eel was going to take a bite out of your butterfly!

That's an awesome set up, and I love the eel! How big is he and how big should he get? I didnt see a post that said your tank size also? Btw, your parrot is hilarious, did he say "look at that"? lmao

The tank is a 92 gallon corner.
Eel is about 12 inches now, max is 24 inches.

My bird is a Yellow Bib Lory, and he can talk, lol.
