Bangaii Cardinals - Breeding

papagimp

COMAS Rocks!
I recently purchased a pair of Bangaii's with the intention of breeding them. My fish kinda jumped the gun here and next thing I know I have a Male with a mouthful of eggs. Since this happened without any effort on my part, and that takes some of the fun out of it, I plan to raise to babies, obtain a compatible pair from my broodstock and start fresh. Being a poor reefer I'm limited on equipment and supplies and naturally money, so I could use advice on cheaply yet effectively raising these guys. All advice and previous experience is welcome:

All you need is a bare 5 or 10 gallon tank & an airstone for now. You will have to start practicing hatching brine shrimp, don't wait until the fry emerge.

We all know the search function here is, uh, a tad inadequate, but with a little patience you will find numerous threads on these fish and get all the info you could possibly want.

Try not to smash your computer with a baseball bat while searching

You can also try googling, just enter what you want to search for and then add "site:reefcentral.com" like this example below:

David, I'm good at hatching brine shrimp, it's raising them to adulthood that has always elluded me. Luckily I won't need adults for bangaii's, just the innocent little newly hatched naupllii.

FishGuttz, I did not know about that "site:" command, that may come in handy around this place. Thanks!

I can find plenty of info on the net, but so much of it varies from person to person that i like to hear a large variety of examples to sift through and find an option that works for me and the fish.
