Bangaii's paired?

I got five bangaiis about two months ago.
After a week in qt, two died. Whatever.
Remaining three got along more or less fine in qt.
All ate but i noticed one of them wasn't growing as fast as the other two. It often hung out in a different corner then the two larger cardinals who were always together.
I dubbed them good and dropped them into my 60g cube with a pair of b&w clowns yesterday.
Same thing in this tank, small one in one corner, other two in a different corner.
They all feed together with no problems, but the little one gets chased away afterwards.
Is it likely that my two larger fish have paired up?
How long should i wait to pull the little one?
Thanks in advance!

It is highly likely that they have paired up. I would pull the "lone ranger" now.
