Was overrun with brown algae. Scraping, water changes, etc. etc. didn't seem to help.
Then I bought some Pristine by Seachem- live nitrifiing bacteria liquid. This is stuff s supposed to introduce all the bacteria you need to kick start the cycle. I use it on all new tanks just once. This time I added 2x the recommended dosage and 48 hours later all the algae was GONE GONE GONE. Fish and corals seem happy as well.
