i think we are just going to get the canon S2 IS because it has autofocus and alot of needed featuers.

All the point and shoots have autofocus- but if you can afford the extra dollars the S2 (or3)IS has a much longer lens- that's the major difference. A bigger camera though- won't fit in your pocket... unless you have really big pockets

not a lot of major differences but the new model focuses down to zerom centimeters!
