i know this subject has been beat to death but im struggling with these ocean revive settings, iv tries a few diff settings and not all softies are liking it, so what do u guys suggest is the best setting

A few bits of info would be a big help.

What kind of light did you use before the T247's?
If they were leds, what kind of power setting did you use with them?
How deep is the tank?
How long have you had the T247?
What kind of settings have you been trying?
What kind of softies (leathers, mushrooms, zoas...)?

Over a basic 24" deep tank and going from t5 to the t247; here is what I'd try first. Blue at 40 to 50 and white at 20 or 30. Blues for 8 to 10 hours and whites from 6 to 8 hours. But IMHO, duration is far less important than intensity and spectrum.

I've had one over my 10" frag tank for 3 years. It's hung 18" off the water so I have room to work under it. I run blue at 90 and white at 40 most of the time. If I get any algae bloom I stay at 90 blue but shut the white off entirely for 3 to 5 days and the algae goes away and the corals still open up.

i ran ati t5s. its a standard 125 gallon with leathers, shrooms zoos etc.
right now im at 95 blue and 65 white seems to be doing ok. there about 18" off water.

If everybody looks to be doing OK, then I'd say you are probably OK. It's likely a lot of light for softies, but the most softies are pretty adaptable.
