Best place to buy cheap inverts

Were is the best local place to buy hermit crabs snails ect. I know you can get them online cheaper but I dont want to pay shipping. I am currently in the middle of a huge algae bloom and need to get a cleanup crew. When setting up a new tank how long untill the algea bloom dies down. I have had the tank two months and algea has hit hard last week or two.

It's hit and miss with inverts at local stores. I recently picked up an excellent, 2 inch, blood red cleaner shrimp at Fishman in Spg. I have also had bad specimens as well. I watched this shrimp for nearly 30 minutes before buying him.

The lady down in ft.lauderdale jean pool I think her name is on Ebay, she has awesome prices. Just dont order any super sensative shippers. Some of those didnt make it on the last try.

I have purchased from Phishy has good prices on inverts and you can get a couple corals shipped in the same box. Also gateway aquatics down near saint louis always has good prices and inverts in stock. Probably an hour 45 minute drive from Pana. worth the drive if you decide to check it out someday.

you can ship ground track delivery from premium and recieve it next day shipping. at least to champaign you can. i ship all live goods from indianapolis on 5 day ground and never have problems.
