Hey folks I just got a wavy seas device and retro fitted a tunze 6080 to it. Talk about flow this thing is so freaking cool. I have so much flow that it kicked up alot of my front sand bed just over night.
here is a video of it working

Wow ario that is awesome. Do you have instructions and what is the wavy seas device? Thinking of reconfiguring my flow and that would be bangin...

his name is mario, he misspelled it ;) but yeah how did you get a tunze on it? it looks like a seaswirl.. i'm interested ;)

For info on the wavy sea just go to http://www.wavysea.com/ and you will find the info there. The tunze's mounting bracket was moded to allow it to mount on the unit. although wavy seas does not want to say that it can be used they dont say not to. I am still playing with how I want mine to be mounted the 6080 is a lot of flow in my tank. I will take some more videos of it running some more later.

That's awesome! But kind of an expensive way to do it, to bad someone can't make a cheap way of doing it...

its it expensive but when you look at how much the 1" seaswirl cost, you get so much more, speed control, angle control and its only using 9v. They way the gearing is set up there are less chance of it braking down like the ss.

not sure since I dont have a 6200 but I would not use it on the pump. What I would do is your a 6080 on the wavy sea and the 6200 with the controller or just 2 6080's.

just using it for the 6080 pump. i cant use it for flow since the adapter that iam using is blocked by the screws used to hold the tunze

what I did was take the tunze bracket and cut it down to about 3" then I enlarged two wholes for some 1/4 20 screws. Then I took the mj bracket that comes with the wavysea and drill & taped the same location as the wholes in the 6080 bracket. here are some pictures of how I did the mod.

Thats very cool. I've had the standard WS for a while and have been afraid of doing this. I have the WS+ coming hopefully in a week or so. I'm using a 6100 on it, with a 6200 screen for wider flow. With the single controller it will be nice to be able to use the feed mode.

Sweet, you've spend $300 to do what a $.49 timing motor would do.
