best silicone?

ive heard GE Silicone 1 is a good silicone to use on glass and that its safe? is that the case?

someone else posted something awhile back that ge I was better than GE Silicone II because there was more of some chemical in II. the post didnt elaborate. why do you say II?

they may have been talking about Kitchen and Bath, it has mildew fighting chemicals in it, don't use that.

I've used GE Silicone II (Window & Door) for a couple years now, no ill affects at all.

I used GE II on my sump, but I did notice after I was finished that it does say not for aquarium use on the tube. Don't know why though, it worked beautifully
