best ways to straighten spa flex?

I'd like to re-do some of my drain plumbing using 1" spa flex tubing. It's relatively short run, so I'd like to straighten it out a bit beore I do it. What are the best ways to get this stuff to stay a little more straight?

Blow dryer to heat it up.

Will it want to bend right back when it cools? Keep it straight somehow while cooling?

I put a piece of 1" pvc inside it. Heated it up with a blow dryer and when it cooled, it maintained the straight shape.

Good idea. How hot do I need to get this for it to maintain it's shape? How much time with the hair dryer?

hair dryer could take a while, I used a an actual heat gun.

I've heard of putting short sections in the oven
