Bios's reef tank...Conception...

Hello...
I'm french (sorry for my bad english ) and
i present you my new tank. The tank measures 100x60x45 cm, approximately 63 Gal.

Concerning the equipment:
Mix:
2 nanostream TUNZE 6055 with multricontrol TUNZE And one pump EHEIN on 1250 for it gone back up by some water.

Skimming:

A Skimmer is a ATI bubble master 200

Lighting:
8 x 39 watts of ATI: 3 white, 3 blue, 2 actinic

Sump DIY:
70x40x30 cm. It will serve me as frag tank..

Refugium DIY:
50x08x25 cm. it will be enlightened by 36 watts VHO

The structure was made with steel by the father of my wife...

The tank was filled on Friday with some salt REEF CRYSTAL and I 'll take my LR this weekend.

I dressed the structure with the medium, it will be later painted in black and white...

jo, thats actually a very interesting design, if you could, do you think you could convert your measurements into american for me? im not to swift on converting metric to american LOL. the tank is very cool looking and cant wait to see it filled up with some rock and corals and fully lit by your ATI's

Ok...So...The tank 's dimension are 39, 4x 23,6x 17,7

and the sump's dimension are 27,6x 15,6x 11,8

and the refugium's dimension are 19,7x 3,15x 9, 84...

Hello, the ligting will be hung on on the ceiling. It will be close to the surface of the water...

The water is again a little bit shady...
LR (66 LBS) are stones of cultures, they are light and colonized well by the superior seaweeds and the coraline...

I am not totally satisfied by the disposition of LR... it will evolve in time
Here is now I wait for seaweeds...lol...

I have to add the sand last week: a complete bag of aragamax of caraib' sea (sugar size).
On Tuesday, I transferred animals in the tank...

hi...my tank have 63 gal
Itis'not realy a nano but it's not real large reef...
