Birdsnest question

Ok this might be a silly question but can you have more then 1 birdsnest touching? I know with the hammers and frogspawn they can all touch but can 2 different birdsnest touch without a problem? I am thinking no but it never hurts to ask.

FWIW I had 2 Pink Birds tip over in my FT. They fused together. From the same piece though...kinda neat.

All you can do is give it a try.
The folks that started gluing green and orange monty plate to morph together, they just gave it a shot.

I have ora pink birds nest with reefer madness green birds nest growing all together. Seem like neither one is bother by the other. They where both frags when I tried it, now about baseball size and still no problems.

Nefron's comment with the frags is precisely how I would approach this rather than put full blown mini colonies right next to each other.

Yeah I have a colony and a frag and I figured the frag would do well in the same conditions as the colony but there's not to much room. So I worried about them growing into one another. I'm going to just give it a try and see what happens.

At a LFS near me they have a pink and green bridsnest touching. It looks awesome.

I don't have a picture, but I will try and get one in the next few days. My tank is at my office, so I don't see it as much as you guys get to see yours at home. But then again, I do see the major electrical saving every month from moving it from home to work...so life is a trade off I guess.
