Bite on Firefish

I have a firefish who received a nasty bite. I'm not sure where from but I have been hunting down an unwanted hitchhiker... in the meantime someone suggested that perhaps it was one of his tank mates... perhaps the angels or the tang... History: I have lost one firefish, one cleaner shrimp, one blood shrimp, and a jumped clown... the first three disappeared... the only trace was bit of my cleaner shrimp the morning I found him gone.

This firefish has a horrible bite on his head and I don't know what to do to treat him. I have segregated him in my main tank with a nursery box... but his wound seems to be getting soggier (if that makes sense). Here are some pics from Sunday....

As fish go, that looks like a pretty small but nasty fishy mouth mark. It's possible a territorial clown did it, and I think they have teeth. They wouldn't pursue him beyond their territory. Another firefish is possible. I don't know the mouthmark of angels, but I'd expect it to be larger. It will probably heal nicely if your water quality is A-1.

This pic was taken on Saturday. Now the wound is quite red and it's getting soggy( does that still sound like it will heal nicely?) My water quality is pretty good... 0 Am, 0 Ni, 20 Na, and 8.4 PH... salinity is 1.023 and temp is about 78.
