Black or Red mangroves

I want to put mangroves in my refugium, and most mangrove keepers have red mangroves.
I can't find those though, but I have found black mangroves.

Are they just as good in improving water quality as the red ones?

post this in the plant section...they ll help you out. but they should do just fine

ebay type mangroves and there is a guy from hawaii and florida that sells them cheap all sizes

Thanks guys.
Might post this in plant section but I think I have enough answers.
As for buying them from ebay:
I live in Europe so I can't buy anything from the US.
If I type mangrove on ebay I get fake roots to put in a freshwater aquarium :/

tunze gets the black mangroves they sell from their US distributor, Roger. He makes a trip down to the gulf every now and then and picks up a bunch of propagules. Black mangroves tend to grow out more of a bushy form versus the tall sticks that red mangroves tend to.

I can't get any seeds from the US because I live in Europe.
But that they get more bushy than reds would mean tey have more surface to filter and breath with right, so that's a good thing?
