Blackworms help

So is there a specific way to get your fish to eat black worms? I've been trying to feed them worms for the past 2 feedings and they go up to it and turn away. I also just got a mandarin yesterday and he is only interested in the pods that are growing on my glass...

Just like with any new food black worms may take a few times before they get comfortable enough to try it. So make sure you arent putting in too many at a time until they get comfortable enough.

The mandarin's main source of food is pods. You may have a hard time getting it to eat anything else. Thats why its recommended to have a mature tank with a thriving refug to produce the pods the mandarin needs. They eat a crazy ammount of pods a day.

Oh okay I put in about 2-4 worms every time I feed.

I have a home made refug in my tank that houses chaeto algae and pods that ive been growing for about 2 months. Some of the pods that ive seen come out of the refug are monstrous.

You could try scenting the worms with Selcon or fresh water from rinsing mysis shrimp. Might be worth a try.
