Bonding acrylic to acrylic?

Hello All! I have a 38 gal. Acrylic tank that I plan on using as a sump. I want to place baffles in the sump but I have read that silicone dosen't adhere well to acrylic. I also want to drill it for BH and have heard that wood hole saws were OK to use. Any advice is appreciated.

Check your yellow pages for a local plastics supplier in your area, they should stock the weld on products as well as making you a good deal on some scraps to use as your baffles.

you can also get weldon at home depot and the wood hole saw works fine.

I checked our local Home Depot without success. They didn't have a clue what I was referring to when I asked about Weldon.

weld on is not avalible at home depot. usally avaliable at a plastic supplier or sign shop
