Booster pump for RO Filter

What's the recommended psi for ro/di filter, I'm running mine at 90 and makes water quick! Curious if anyone has exceeded this psi or prefers lower?

Filmtec membranes are spec'ed to a maximum of 300 psi, but other components of your system can't withstand high pressure like that. Plumbing code calls for a max of 80 psi. The weakest part of the systems in terms of being able to withstand pressure is the clear housings. Best to put your pump AFTER the prefilters. So in a 4 stage system like this:

water flow would go like this:
sediment filter to
carbon block to
strainer to
pump to
pressure gaguge and RO membrane to
DI

Thanks, for all the replies. I cannot return any PM's (I am a new member). My email is phypes (at) gmail.com

d-maz if you could send me an email I could send you my number

Thanks Phil

BTW my ro is a 100 gpd filter. I have a well with 40-50psi. I am hoping the booster pump will produce the 100 gpd, or at least get close.

Thanks, Phil

If you put a booster pump on a 100gpd, and run it at 80 psi for instance, even with cold water temperatures, you'll get more than 100 gpd:
