My once extremely healthy platagyra brain got stabbed by a hard tube worm about four days ago when I bumped it by accident. The tissue has receeded into a dead spot that is about the size of a quarter. The animal itself is about 3.5" by 3". It seems like the animal is starting to expand more between today and yesterday and tissue recession is slowing. I dont want to stress it more so I held off on a water change this weekend and fed it this morning before the light came on. I dont see any signs of BJD. Is there anything else I should do for it in particular? Is it doomed?
