Branching Galaxea?

A friend of mine has a branching galaxea, I believe it to be Galaxea horrescens. Until now I had never seen one before, in fact I thought it was a super shaggy bottlebrush acro. The color is pretty plain, just olive green, but the polyps are really tiny and 'cute' in a strange sorta way :)

Despite the color, I had to have a piece, and so I got a small frag :D (looks like I need to buy someone a bottle of Crown).

Now I'm curious if there are any more out there?

I've seen just one in my career.

I'd love to get a frag from him Jacob. I'll be your way very soon :D PM me a wish list for him, RN products, corals, what ever ;)

Hi Gresham. Yes we will be seeing you and Randy very soon! (I owe you some info still). He may be at the club meeting, if so I'll introduce you and you guys can talk it over... no promises though he was pretty reluctant to give it up (as in "here how about you take some of this superman danae instead"... so naturally I took both and ran!)

I'll see if there is anything he needs, but I think he has one of everything.

p.s. - who has/had the one that you mentioned above?

I don't think there is a good chance he will be fragging it anymore, sorry if this post sounded like an advertisement in any way, also I think RC does not like us asking for frags in this forum ;) However if anything changes I'm sure he will post himself in the appropriate forum.

I was more curious if there are others of these floating around (probably) and if so if anyone has pictures of theirs? I'll post a picture of my frag when I get home from work today... think I hear the boss coming now...

Hehe... even the boss has a boss. I think we'll have to start calling you 'the boss' the way you strong arm club sponsors. ;)
