Branching Lobophyllia slowly melting away?

I had posted earlier about this piece I bought for identification purposes and had noticed a few heads had dissolved. I made some adjustments in CA which was low but the bottom heads are still slowly retracting and very flat. I do notice a lot of arthropods at night that are running around on rock. SO is this piece doomed? What can I do to help bring back

SG 1.026
Temp 79
Alk 10
Ca 420 was 320 till 3 days ago
Phosphate 0
Nitrate 2-3ppm
PH 8.0

Any ideas would be appreciated.

is it still sitting like that? Have you tried picking it up and moving the lower heads off the sand and aiming them up at the light?!

I agree, I think that would be a great start.
How long were the lights on when you tested your pH at 8.0? Sometimes a low mag level can cause problems if left unattended for too long not any better paired up with a low calcium level and low pH could spell for some less than desireable qualities. Now that your calcium's in check try to get your mag levels checked so you can make sure the calcium's getting utilized and help em lay down skeleton. Tell me more about your pH though and how hard does it swing.

Ph stays at 8.0 to 7.92
Measured constantly by Pinpoint monitor. I just set up kalwasser top off last week and expect it to slowly rise. I also did a 25 gallon water change with Kent salt which I have been using for 1 1/2 years. Hoping calcium deficency is problem. Lights should be more than adequate. Have aquatincs T5 setup.
