Has anyone else been looking into this? It looks doable for someone who can dedicate the space needed. Scoly males release gametes depending on the cycle of the moon. Scoly females are coral brooders. They don't release the baby Scoly until they are ready to settle; no free swimming stage. Baby Scoly are released with zooxanthellae and are self sufficient. This could be very lucrative for someone with space. It would sure take the pressure off the wild population.
