bristle or fire worms

could someone please post a picture of a bristle or fire worm I think that i have one in my tank are they really harmfull and how do you get rid of them...............thanks frankie06:bum:

If it is a bristle worm I wouldn't worry about it. They won't really harm anything. They are kinda ugly tho.

Angelsj247 thank you so much for your fast response it is a bristle worm and unless some bad comes to my tank the little critter can keep doin its thing thanks again

frankie06, where you're located, it's very unlikely to be a harmful one. In the NW, I've learned, the worms in available specimens and rock tend to be Pacific bristleworms, which are a scary-looking but beneficial detritus feeder. Just try to keep them out of sight whenever some visitor is admiring your tank.
