Hey everyone,

I moved a rock today and noticed a colony of worms in my 180g. Should I take action to remove them or are they ok for now?

Many bristle worms are beneficial to your tank so I wouldn't remove them unless they appear to be a pest (fireworms, etc.)

yep! bristleworms are completely harmless and, being jawless, can't eat anything live. They will eat detritus and other undesirable guck.
Are you positive they're bristleworms, because other worms can be harmful.

+1

make sure they are bristleworms and not fireworms or other baddies ;)

Nice to have and let them be.

They are harmless, great addition to the clean up crew definitely not a pest. many people report them killing fish, what really happens is the fish dies, then the worms clean up the mess, they are never the cause of a problem.
