BRS "DUAL" GFO and Carbon Reactor

anyone have any idea what size hole you would need to drill into a sump to have the tubing go through the sidewall instead of up an over the top

I want to run the dual under my tank. I have a all in one system that does not have a sump. Will I be able to have enough pump power to get the water back up into the tank? Maxi 12?
