BTA Moved!

I have a 55g reef tank that I added a BTA to about 2 weeks ago.

He moved around a bunch the first day and wasn't open much. The second day he found a spot that he has stayed in for the past 2 weeks. On the second day my pair of gold stripe maroons found him also, and started to get comfortable with him. From then on, life was normal and BTA waved gently with the current and actually grew bubbled tips under my 92w PC lighting (to my surprise).

His most recent feeding was a couple 3/4" silversides Easter sunday. That went normal as well. Today, I return home from school and found him moved off of his rock! He has started moving from dead center of the tank to the left side, and onto the glass. However, he is still at the same height. He is completely open, lips sealed, and water params are exactly where needed.

Why has he moved? Is this normal after being in the same spot for two weeks? I know they aren't stuck after a certain amount of time, but I thought he would stay in place.

Thanks in Advance,
Kevin

I am never sure what to say to moving of anemones, mine almost never move.
I have 2 in my 75 that have stayed in the same spot for16 months , since the day they went into the tank, altho they split, they are still in the same place.
And my 125 has 5 roses, all have not move but an inch or so.
I found thru experimenting over the years that the more I feed them the less they move .
They don't have to go hunting for a better spot to find food I think.
Don't know though, just the conclusion I have come to.
I feed every 3 days large silversides, then on day 4 they each get a cube of formula one that they love.
It is new to there diet as have never fed it before, but they seem to love it so I have been doing that routine for about 6 months now.
