Bubble coral how should it look? Pics

I just bought this.
Should the bubbles eventually cover the entire piece? Or will it always look like this?

From what Ive seen homebrew it wont so much encrust over as puff up and out. The base flesh when very healthy may travel a little bit down it's skeleton. But it's main concern is getting bigger and laying down new skeleton, so not really I guess is your answer but its bubble canopy will eventually overgrow it so it'll be inconspicuous like krafty's and Grandwizard's nice bubble corals.

A month after I had the coral it completly died.

Now that I know better, mine was probably bleached from poor lighting.
I had it direct under my 250 watt MH.

I moved the dead coral under the rock, thinking it might grow back.

Here is a pic from today.
Notice the new color.

yeah, give those bubbles low light and low flow for maximum bubbly-ness.
