Look so good, I am stuck with 3 choices, BM100, BM150, BM160, I haven't decide yet until you got BM 160 so I can follow your thread and see how it perform.. look identiy to DAS EX-1? BM160 is 6 inch chamber than EX-1?

The Das Ex-1 it's 5" diameter , this one it's 6" .

the pump pull a lot of air and i remember that some ppl asked me before when thay decide to mesh the Aqua - B pump they got max 12LPM here it's with a needle wheel.....

i let it break in more time and then i will play with the air intak.... but mean time it's doing well :D

That's a pretty good air pull for the AB pump. I wonder if it has something to do with the pin wheel or the venturi. Do you have any pics of the venturi? I have tested various AB impellers and never got close to those #s. Does the pump make a louder sound due to the longer pins on the wheel?

Can you provide any feedback on the pump / powerhead that comes with the BM 100 - is it sufficent according to the tank size they recommend., also, could you use the aquabee pump on the BM 100 instead of the powerhead thar comes with it.

tks

It has outdone BOTH H&S and Deltec, I'm impressed.

Any restarting issues?

shelburn61 :

there is 11" clearance under the bottom of the outlet .

moonman :

The pump run quiet .

JRaquatics :

The pump run very well and not have any issue , IMO this pump can handle larger body to , it's also very new ver. of the aqua B pump without the washer , they did a nice impeller and if you llok back you will see the air intake on that.

Wayner2 :

the pump very strong and i believe you can run it on the BM100 but to get best result need to add air intake to reduce the bubble size (it's will effect good also on the BM160)

SteveK1979 :

you right about that i was very impress from the performance of the pump to .

It's about 5" high .

What would be the max tank size you would run the BM 100 on with the powerhead that comes with it?., I have a medium stocked 70 galon cube with sps

tks
