Bubble Tip Anemone's Favourite Spots?

in an area of good flow and light, with a crevice that he can keep his foot in so that he feels secure. But, if it isn't the ideal spot for him, he'll move and find it on his own.

Good thinking (: But my LFS keeps telling me to place it upside down on a rock and they love to turn upside down when the light shines in. I tried and thought it worked, but yeah, I think in a crevice sounds like a good idea(:

Guys I am thinking about getting one to host my onyx clowns. I have a sps tank and I really don't want to lose any corals. If I got a small one how would you introduce him to the spot you want him to stay put in?

Into an SPS tank is really RISKY!! >< I don't think I would wanna do that, I lost a whole patch of corals when I introduced mine, thank God it stopped, if not I would've taken the nem out.. >< Sigh their stings are really powerful.. REALLY POWERFUL! ><

The best way to keep your BTA from wandering all over your tank and killing the SPS in its path (I've had it happen even after months of the anemone staying in one place) is to create a little rock "bommie" that doesn't touch any other rocks or the sides of your tank (by several inches). BTAs don't like to walk over sand, so the only way for them to get off the island is to let go and float.

Keep in mind that this will only work if you've got the right conditions on the bommie - good light, flow, crevices for its foot, and do on. It's also hard to do in an established tank.
