Bubble vs. Candy Cane

Can candy cane and bubble corals be close together? Or will they sting each other?

The bubble will sting the candy cane. Keep the bubble at least 6-8 inches away from any other coral. No 2 stoney corals should ever be close enough to touch eachother at night with sweepers.

What about the candy cane? How much space should I give the sweepers?

Those really dont have much in the way of sweepers; a couple inches will be plenty. Caulastrea isnt usually the one that is aggressive; normally it is damaged by corals around it.

My Caulastrea have 7" sweepers. No match for Plerogyra, though.
