build quality of coralife aqualight pro?

hi,

I just sold a lunar aqualight 260 watt pc because I did not like the color in my 75 gallon reef and the add on legs were super flimsy and cooling fans were terribly noisy,mainly due to vibrations.

I am looking at the aqualight pro halide and wonder if the build quality including fans and legs are better?

coralife is coralife. why would the quality of one unit be better than another? If you want a better quality hood check out a maristar. They are made by tek, a higher end company. ask some people what they think of them.

can you get legs for the maristar?

I have the pro and I really like it. I bought it used and have had 0 problems. It's very quiet and run pretty cool IMO. The legs are sturdy but too short, I recommend you get the kit to suspend the fixture. I have 2 metal halide fixtures and both of them are coralife and I bought my pro because I was very happy with the clip on tank MH system that I have had for about 2 years now with no problems.

are the legs too short to use without putting glass on top of tank?
I hate those glass tops!
