Building Concrete Sump Under Tank, Need advise please

Hello RC, I am building concrete sump under my tank, Slab has been poured in with rebars and now I will drill holes for rebars for cinder blocks and then pour in concrete to build walls. I need to add 2 pcs of 2" pvc pipes to connect the return pumps, Is there any special way to do this or I can just add 2" holes in cinder blocks and run the pipe through the blocks and then pour in the concrete and but I am afraid of leaks. Please I am seeking help or advise, I want to do this right so that I don't face leaks after I seal the sump from inside with water proof coating from Pentair Aquatics.

More questions than answers here from me but have you considered a submersible pump to avoid having to drill the concrete?

Thank you Jcohen9999, that is an option. I always used external pump since they deliver more gallons/ hour, I run everything with main pump, I am very sure that running pvc through cinder block is doable but I want to know if there are any special steps I need to follow so that It does not leak, It will be ~700 gallons of water in that sump.

If you are going that big a Red Dragon pump should be considered as an internal solution.
OR --Abyzz if you can justify it.

Check out info for a "Link Seal". I think you might be able to use 2" link seal. Not sure if they go that small.

Thank you Dantique, I just looked at the pictures of link seal but it won't prevent water from coming out, it is good tool to fill gap between the concrete hole and pvc pipe running through the hole so that pvc pipe does not wiggle in there, But I will look into this more.

Not totally sure what you are trying to do or looking for .

If my thinking is true.... You want a Bulkhead that can span thru a 8 inch block .. My suggesting is to make one.... for a 1 1/2 inch bulkhead. Drill the hole thru the block to accommodate a 2 inch pvc pipe i think OD Is 2 1/4 Check and verify ... Install a 1 1/2 threaded to 2 inch ID Bushing into each end of the 2 inch pvc running thru the block.. Then use two 1 1/2 inch Male Threaded fittings With Rubber seals to seal the hole against the block.. Remember Block is very porous .. You will have to be sure what ever block sealant /epoxy you use is thick around the holes in the blocks..

Pool companies use, basically a bulkhead without a nut and is epoxied in place.
