you need to drill the hole to the specified size. You will be eliminating most of the sealing surface if you drill that whole to big....

Also when you say "hole saw" you do mean a glass hole saw, correct?

I mean a wood hole saw, I'm drilling acrylic so I assumed it would work. The bulkhead is for the drain of the overflow box.

Well it`s not that it`s too expensive, it`s just that I wanted to get the drilling done today and I can`t buy a new drill today because it`s Sunday night and all the stores are closed.

Guess I`ll have to wait until tomorrow.
