Bulkhead question **URGENT**

Hello, When gluing the pvc pipes, is it nessasary to glue the pvc to the(inside) bulkhead? or just push it in and leave alone? DRAIN PIPES! Evervthing else is glued! Just was not sure... Thanks.

No real need to glue the drain or return pipes on the top side(overflow kit). They are in water already. If you ever need to drain your overflow water for some reason, it will be much harder with pipes glued to it. You would have to take the nut off the bottom side of the bulkhead to do so, whereas without it glued, you just pop the pipe out from the top and the water drains.

+1

But I would use threads on the return. No need to glue the drain pipes on the inside.
