C. Collare Foods?

Hi,

We recently ordered some fish (A2608101-1) and all are doing well so far... my only concern is the finicky nature of the small C. Collare we received. She is eating some cyclopeeze, but it's obvious it's not a food she cares for much.

Is it possible to find out what foods she was eating at your facilities?

Thanks in advance.

glassbox-design,

Thank you for your recent order with LiveAquaria. We are sorry to hear that your Pakistan Butterflyfish does not care for the Cyclop-Eeze. In our facility, it was eating Selcon enriched Mysis , Sprirulina, and Brine Shrimp We would also recommend soaking these foods in Garlic Xtreme to stimulate the fish's appetite. Please keep us updated on your Pakistan Butterflyfish's progress.

Hi Felicia,

Thank you for the response.

We also feed the tank mysis and brine (with garlic extreme/selco), and given her small mouth size she has difficulty with them. I am looking for an alternative small sized food to fatten her up.

Is it possible to hear from a tech who was feeding her? Currently she is happily living off of SPS polyps and copepods, but I'd like to get her on more prepared foods. ;)

Glassbox-design,

Thank you for your message. Due to the dedicated tasks required at our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility, our technicians are not available to speak directly with customers over the phone. According to our facility, your Pakistan Butterflyfish has also been given brine shrimp with Spirulina. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let us know.

Hi Mike,

Unfortunately the C. Collare past away. I must say I am not pleased as from day one she showed signs of lymphocystis. I spoke with Sandy via phone over the weekend and was told a credit would be issued to my card.

It has not showed up yet, but I would appreciate it if you could follow up to make sure it went through properly.

Thank you,

Eric
