I went to cafepress but could not find our tee shirt design there, although with 19,100 reef-related ones, I didn't go through many of them, but saw lots of other saltwater aquarium club logos. Does anyone know what page it would be on, or have a link? Thanks.

I want one too , does the club sell them or is it just through cafe express ?? I would not mind a nice hooded sweatshirt either.

If you all have a design you are looking for I have a friend that owns a printing shop. Just be sure the design does not infringe on anyone's design rights.

Not trying to sell shirts just offering an idea.

ditto that , i have a family member with a CNC sewing / embroidering machine that's fricking huge , can get them done for a great price if needed.

We printed out a bunch in the past a finally got rid of the last run at the 2007 x-mas party. I believe our logo is uploaded all you need to do is pick your size and order. I could be wrong though.

i ran searches an anything i could think of that may help find it in the cafepress website and cant find our logo. can someone who knows where it is guide those of us who dont please. cant buy what we cant find

cant find it either ,,, if someone does locate it . please post it and we can all order them together and save on shipping

does C-Sea have a issue with someone getting these made up on their own ?? do they have a deal with cafe express that limits only using them ?? i am willing to bet i can have these made up in embroidery cheaper that cafe express sells silkscreens .

or is it possible for someone @ C-Sea to post a link on the C-SEA website to cafe express , like the link on RC takes you right to all of their stuff right on Cafe Express

I just talked to them and he said he could not find anything about us. He suggested that maybe it was a onetime printing therefore it would not be left in the system. I don't know, maybe if you talk to someone else there maybe they can find it.

why doesnt mr president send the art to murphs205 and get them made. which art is it as i have seen 2 or 3

From the replies like the one above, it looks like there would be lots of ways to make C-SEA tees if CafePress isn't coming through for us.

I don't think there could be any infringement. The pocket design, don't know where that came from but looks generic. The club owns the big design on the teeshirts and many others. They were originally done by a professional artist who was one of C-SEA's founding members. I'd have to dig out old records to be sure, but I think his name was Tim Hemsoth (sp?).

They were published and copyrighted in the C-SEA's original magazine, the OCTOPUS. Issues from '73, '74, and '75 contained these artworks on the front and back covers and more inside. I have print copies of all of them.....somewhere in storage. I think most all of these other C-SEA designs would make nice tees too, but the one on the current tees was the favored one at the time. There are some nice drawings inside that would make a cooler pocket emblem IMO plus no question of infringing.

I want one too!! Let me know when and where. Sounds like the mystery is beginning to be solved as the clues keep appearing. Hey whares Scooby!!

I had planned to do an event shirt for the Frag Swap with the date and all on them but there was an overwhelming majority at the board meeting that believed we would be stuck with many shirts not purchased as it has always been in the past.

I don't think it is as easy as me sending the logos to someone for printing as suggested. There are a lot of things that need to be considered before just getting some shirts printed. We are always trying to be fiscally responsible with the club's money and do the right thing for all of the members.
You can never guess how many of what size to buy and the club ends up with money tied up and merchandise that has to be brought to meetings in hopes of being sold.
I have logos from previous shirts and also a couple that I made up and I will contact Murph about it. It would be best if we do a prepaid order so there is nothing left over afterward.
If there is enough interest maybe we can get them done soon. In the past we have done shirts for $15 but I think that was with large orders (100 pieces or more). We might have to go up as high as $20 to get them for a smaller quantity.
I have uploaded the logos to the CafePress site a long time ago but we never came to an agreement on the amount to charge for those items so they have not been made public for printing yet.

I am glad to see a lot of people wanting shirts and I have wanted to get a few myself. If we got the shirts printed locally I would buy 2 or 3 of them at $20 in 3xl. If anyone is interested and wants to post quantity and size they are looking for we could get a better idea of how to run this.

I am not sure that embroidery would be the best route to go with the large design I had planned for the back of the Frag Swap tee's.

cveverly, I will PM you about getting a quote for screen printing too.
