Calcium and Alkalinity?

Hi everyone, I need to know if these numbers are okay? I have been trying to raise my Alk to between 4-5, it was previously around 2.8. Right now I have it at a 4.11. I'm happy with this, I just need to figure out my dosing requirements to keep it that way... My calcium however has been above 500+. I was adding a calcium supplement, so I think that's why it's been so high.

Honestly, what I was doing was using garf's Seachem supplement recommendations, but I quickly realized that using the doses they suggested would probably cause me some issues...

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Is my goal of 4-5 for Alk sufficient/Optimal? From the reading I've done, I've seen people say anywhere from 2-8 is okay. That's just a broad range, so I was hoping for some clarification on the subject.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I agree that I'd let things drop back a bit in both calcium and alkalinity.

Try to get a true calcium reading by using a second syringe of titrant, if necessary, and add the values together. :)
