calcium/kalk reactor

I'm looking to purchase a calcium and kalk reactor soon. I was looking at geo. also at precision marine. are there any other company's that are really good. I want to spend the money right and have these for any future tank upgrades etc. If anyone has any opinion on these please let me know.
tank is only a 75, but I want to start keeping all the amazingly colored acro's and such. I just want my water to be as stable as possible.

please post all opinions!
thanks in advance.

procal-geo-deltec look no further. mainly secondary to customer service and ease of service, as well as built.
Q-do u keep stonies?
If so how many?
DO u plan to do an sps mainly tank?

right now i've only got green cap, purple cap, tan digitata, orange digitata, some purple acro(i believe) from rogger, pocillipora, and some montipora. I want to start ditching some of my less rare softies and keeping only rare zoas and yumas, and then start adding some more of the more colorful sps. like millepora, and acropora. the lokani's. things like that. I love looking at roggers tank and seeing all the amazing colors, but I know that those colors need perfect water.
that help?
in the end i plan to keep sps on top, softies on the bottom. also some chalice's mixed in.

Keith keep your eyes open there's plenty of reactor used setups around RC forums 4 sale.
They are all pretty much the same, the 3 I mentioned are really good but u certainly can do with many reactors.(PM-korallin-etc.)

My previous experience with a reactor included a knop about 9 years ago and it was a pita to dial in. Now having ph probe controllers and so forth helps a lot.

In conclusion a reactor is a reactor and certainly does not and will not replace good husbandry and so forth.

thanks...yea i figure with the kalk and calcium reactor and also doing 10-15 gallons a week water change that I should have pretty good water quality. at coral reef farm I fell in love with some corals, but don't want to buy them and have them die because my tank is stable enough. hopefully soon!!!

Corals arn't going to die because you don't have a calcium/kalk reactor. Most people don't have one. They just won't grow as profusely. You can certainly get them to grow like crazy by dosing 2 part, which is inexpensive in the short term, until you can get a calcium/kalk reactor.

BTW it's better to get a calcium reactor in the long run because a kalk reactor will not be able to keep up with calcium demands down the line once the corals are big enough, because it replaces evaporated water with kalkwasser laden with alkalinity and calcium, and you won't be able to evaporate water fast enough for the calcium to stay high.
