I have been notice that my tank have

550 Calcium and 9 dkh alkalinity for a week now.

I really want to know is that possible and should I do anything about it. This tank is about 4 month old now. I have about 10 piece of small SPS and some software coral.

With such a high level of Calcium would my coral been ok?

Please comment.

do water 10-20% water change for every 3 days, also if you are using additive stop using, also keep your alkalinity high, so we can try to desolve the cal.

I do not think a water change is necessary, or even useful if the salt is the cause.

It is certainly possible to have those levels, and is the normal in many aquaria using salt mixes with excessive calcium, like Oceanic. 550 ppm calcium will not hurt corals.

How are you supplementing calcium and alkalinity? Supplementing alkalinity only for a while (such as by using baking soda) and letting the calcium fall is a fine plan.
