dKH is 9. calcium is 490+. tank pH is 8.5. what adjustment on the calcium reactor do i need to make in order to lower the calcium to the 420-450 range and not affect the dKH and pH?

None. The calcium is high likely due to your starting salt mix, and cannot be dropped by jiggering the reactor without alkalinity dropping excessively. the reactor is set correctly, IMO, if it is maintaining alkalinity.

What salt are you using?

What kit to test calcium?

IO is usually high in alkalinity and low in calcium so eventually they will balance out as you continue with your water changes.
