Can a FOWLR tank look beautiful

Interesting, edit button doesn't work for me. Anyway I want to say that they look great, even though most of them are white like dry live rocks and they are very expensive.

If the rockwork is done correctly they can look very nice!but,IMO they fish are always the main attraction in fowlr.

I think the key to FOWLR beauty, other than the fish of course, would be the shapes of the rocks and how they are arranged, as well as colors of the rocks themselves or coralline algae on the rocks.

Also, I do have some pretty good fake coral, sporn brand, that I got from http://drsfostersmith.com. I do have to clean algae off periodically, but I also have a ton of snails that do a lot of the work for me. Drs. Foster & Smith is also having a sale at the moment, FYI, so it's a good time to buy some if you are interested.

Low patience, low maintenance semi-fowlr, only basic upkeep required but I do feed quite frequently.

Sorry guys if I sound sound like I am being smart or stupid, but is a semi-FOWLR a thing?? :)

My 200g FOWLR... I's gonna have a bunch of corals, especially leathers and other "weed-type" fast-growing softies, but I think there's a big difference between a typical reef and a FOWLR with a few corals, just like a planted tank and a tank with some plants.

I really like the rockwork, and the fishes seem to like it too.

Best regards.

Daniel.

I need to add some more rock to my tank but I agree with SD, with a FOWLR its about all about getting colorful fish and how you do the rock work.

With my angels and plans for butterfly's I doubt I can get any coral to survive
