can a maxima be kept in a BB tank

I am planing on a tank and was think about getting a maxima for it down the raod. Does anyone have a bb tank with clams in them? If so what is the best way and what is the best clam if a maxima is not a good choice.

Maxima prefers a hard substrate, not sand, so it will be fine in that regards.
