Can clams sting Frogspawn and corals?

I just put my clam onto a rock underneath my frogspawn. I noticed the frogspawn does not entend near the clam at all. Is this b/c the clam is stinging it or is it ok? I never had problems with the clam placing it next to my polyps. Regards.

Clams do not possess the ability to sting.

So can a clam be placed near a frogspawn or hammer coral without being stung by it? Because I noticed that the clam looks normal next to it. Regards.
