I have 4 T5s (24W each) over a 65g tank ~60 cm deep. Question is, can I keep clam(s) in it as it is (half way or lower), or do I have to add another couple of lights to be able to?
IMHO no, for a tank that big you need alot more light. I had a 75g with 6x54w lights to keep clams in. you need to add alot more to keep even a derasa or a squamosa.
