Can strontium and iodine be mixed together?

Kent Marine Turbo Strontium and Kent Marine Iodine.
The ingredient in the Turbo Strontium is listed as strontium chloride.
The ingredients in the Iodine are listed as Potassium iodide, calcium iodide, sodium hydrogen carbonate, sodium carbonate and sodium tetraborate.
If it can be done I would like to dilute the two in DI water to due a daily addition with a dosing pump.

Have you tested your strontium and iodine levels ?
Most salt mixes provide all the strontium and iodide you need provided you do regular water changes.
I'm not sure dosing of these two supplements is necessary but at least give these a read and decide for yourself.

I'm not a fan of adding either one,for the reasons described in the links above, and do not think they are useful.
No, I would not mix them. The strontium will likely precipitate with the carbonate in the iodide. .
Dilution is a problem too. High dilution and aeration of the iodide will accelerate oxidation to iodate. So if you were thinking of mixing into top off water reservoirs, that may not be optimal if you want it to remain iodide.

Billybeau1, I am finnishing up a refit of my aquarium and am making DI water now so I don't have anything to test yet.
I do have a Salifert Strontium test Kit though
Randy thank you that is what I wanted to know. I have read both those articles but it was a while ago I'll give them a re-read.
