canopy height for 210g room divider

I asked this in the wrong forums I think. So I am trying here now. We are cutting the wall for our tank as we speak and are trying to figure out the total height. The canopy will attach to the wall on each side. I guess you could say it will be 2 partial canopies. What I was trying to figure out is how high should the canopy be from the tank ? I am going to be running pc's as it is a FOWLR. They will be sitting on the tank and are approximately 6" from tank top to the light top. I was considering another 6 to 8 inches from the top of the lights. Will this be high enough?

You don't need much room for PC's but I would build it high enough so that you could put MH lights later if you ever decide to go reef since.
